Women are born to love beauty and they'd like to put makeup on every day. However, most people may not pay too much attention to the ingredients in those cosmetics. In fact, many beauty products contains pigments, essences, preservatives and other chemicals which can disrupt hormone secretion, impair reproductive capacity and nervous system, and even cause cancer; at the same time, they cannot be naturally decomposed and therefore pollutes water and soil. Being exposed to small amounts of lipstick which contain these ingredients may not consider harmful. Though, if you are someone who applies lipstick on a daily basis and reapplies it repeatedly throughout the day, it is worth considering to use something more natural.
Apart from those harmful substances that are bad for human and even worse, many manufacturers use animals to test their cosmetic products. Rabbits are forced to open their eyes and drip hairspray, nail polish etc; white mice are injected or fed to test the toxicity of the substance. Various animal welfare organisations pointed out that more than 100 million animals die each year due to experimental testing.
